Features

Model SA-1XP gas detection sensors are designed to detect and monitor toxic gases, oxygen, and combustible gas in ambient air. The design utilizes Safeguard Analytics smart sensor modules which include electrochemical, photo ionization detectors, non-dispersed infrared and a multi spectrum combustible gas detection sensor. Each sensor module stores gas type, measurement range and zero-span calibration data points. The control transmitter consists of a microprocessor-based control circuit, signal conditioning circuitry and a high visibility color graphic digital display.

OpCheck

OpCheck combines continuous supervision of the gas sensor element and associated circuits then adds analysis of performance data during routine calibration to create a high level of safety and reliability in every Safeguard Analytics gas detection sensor. Using the Bluetooth connection and an Android phone or tablet, OpCheck service reports are readily available in single device or site wide formats. The reports can be uploaded via text or email.

  • Safeguard Analytics warrants each new SA-xES to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of (2) years from the date of shipment to the original purchaser.
  • Safeguard Analytics warrants each new Smart Sensor Module to be free from defects in material and workmanship under intended normal use.  The warranty period varies by gas.  See the Product Data Sheet for each gas for details.
  • All warranties are FOB the Safeguard Analytics factory located in the Woodlands, Texas, USA.
  • Upon examination by Safeguard Analytics, if a purchased item is found to be defective it will be repaired or replaced at no charge. Safeguard Analytics’ WARRANTY does not apply to defects resulting from any action of the purchaser, including but not limited to mishandling, improper interfacing, operation outside of design limits, improper repair, or unauthorized modification. This WARRANTY is VOID if the item shows evidence of having been tampered with or shows evidence of being damaged as a result of excessive corrosion; or current, heat, moisture or vibration; improper specification; misapplication; misuse or other operating conditions outside of Safeguard Analytics’ control. Components which wear are not warranted.
