Safeguard Analytics is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application for gas sensor management and calibration via Bluetooth.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

OpCheck is designed to work entirely offline and locally on your device.

We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any of the following:

·         Personal information (name, email address, phone number, etc.)

·         Location data

·         Device identifiers (beyond what’s temporarily needed for Bluetooth pairing)

·         Sensor readings or calibration data after the session ends

·         Usage analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic data sent to us

·       Any other information that could identify you or your device over time

All device details, calibration processes, sensor data, and calculations happen exclusively on your device. No information is sent to our servers (because we do not operate any servers for this app) or to any third party.

2. Bluetooth Usage

The only hardware communication the app performs is Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connection to your gas sensor device for the purpose of:

·         Discovering the sensor

·         Reading current sensor values

·         Writing calibration parameters

This communication occurs directly between your mobile device and the gas sensor — we do not act as an intermediary and we never receive this data.

Bluetooth permissions are requested only when you actively choose to connect to a sensor. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.

3. Third-Party Services

OpCheck does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or cloud services (such as Firebase, Google Analytics, Appsflyer, etc.).

If your app store platform (Google Play or Apple App Store) collects any data during download, installation, or update, that is governed by the respective platform’s privacy policy — not by us.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our app is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

5. Your Rights

Since we do not collect, store, or process any personal data, there is no personal data for you to access, correct, delete, or port.

You can stop all interaction with the app at any time by simply uninstalling it.

6. Security

Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, the main privacy risk is minimized. We still follow industry-standard secure coding practices for Bluetooth communication to protect against common vulnerabilities during the local sensor connection.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted within the app and/or on our website (if any). We recommend reviewing this page periodically. Changes are effective when posted.
